We study pp scattering at high energies and moderately large momentum transfer, using a model in which the proton is viewed as being composed of a quark and a diquark. The sensitivity of the spin dependence of high energy pp scattering, particularly the asymmetry A N N , to the odderon is demonstrated. Several possible ways of determining the spin dependence of the odderon coupling from small-t data are presented.
